Hello my name is Washington V. Murillo. I am a 35 years old Computer Professional who is constantly looking for new challenges outside the 9 to 5 routine. I dedicate some of my free time keeping up to date with the latest developments in the computer industry.

My education and consequently my work as a Systems/Programmer Analyst has afforded me the opportunity to keep a constant interest in the fascinating world of computing.

I have been a programmer from the days when Programming was being taught using BASIC on  TRS 80 microcomputers, and Cobol Programs were being inputted using punch cards,  until the present time, when Microsoft is going to release its 6th version of Visual Basic and Web Pages can be created with the a couple clicks of the mouse.

I have a degree in Management Information Systems from Florida International University and work as a Systems/Programmer analyst for the Miami-Dade County Public School District. For the last ten years I have gained ample experience using  and programming in  languages such as Clipper, FoxPro, Visual FoxPro, Visual Basic, CICS/SQL Cobol,  Easytrieve,  Adabas Natural,  JCL on IBM Mainframes and using some of the utilities such as Idcams, AFP, CA Panvalet.
